1.0.0 Launch
Papa’s first release. He moves into your notch and starts keeping an eye on things.
Every day
- The morning plan. The first time you open your Mac each day, Papa drops down and asks for up to three things you’ll do. You write them right in the notch.
- The evening check. At the time you pick, he asks which ones got done. All three gets a “Shabash”. None gets that look.
- Battery reminders. A nudge at 20% and 10%, and one to unplug when the battery is full and the charger is still in.
- English or Hinglish. Pick when you first open Papa, switch any time.
Time-wasting sites
- Give a site like YouTube a daily limit in Safari or Chrome. Go over and Papa climbs a ladder: asks nicely, taunts, brings up Sharma ji, then opens the newspaper and waits.
- One site on Free, as many as you like on Pro.
Sales Pro
- Connect Stripe or Dodo Payments with a read-only key. Papa reacts to your first sale, big sales, refunds and MRR milestones.
- The belt. Zero sales by evening, and it comes out of the notch and cracks your screen. Once a day at most, and you can turn it off.
Staying on track
- Streaks for planning, finishing your tasks, staying focused, unplugging the charger and, with sales connected, making sales and growing MRR. Streaks keep counting on Free.
- Papa’s approval levels and rewards for keeping streaks going. Pro
- Focus mute. Silence Papa for as long as you need. Pro
Your rules
- Quiet hours, a day off each week, and a cap on how many times a day he speaks.
- A dashboard that drops out of the notch with today’s plan, streaks, sales, sites and settings.
- Works with full-screen apps, and on Macs and displays without a notch.
- Runs on macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon and Intel.
